The feasibility system was
built with off-the-shelf components. Although the final system will not resemble the feasibility system in any way, it was necessary to build this system in order to determine if the calculated surface area was sufficient to boil water, the results were extremely promising. With this 1 Element,  we were able to boil 2 gallons of water in under 30 minutes. This may not seem like a big deal but 1 Cell will contain 6 Elements and an Array can contain as many Cells as required for the end application. The steam output from the system can then be used directly, rune through a steam turbine to drive a electrical generator or it can be run through a condensation system to create desalinated water. This system also has the ability to amplify the amount of light for high efficiency solar cells, while at the same time removing and utilizing the  heat that can reduce efficiency or even damage solar cells.
